Miami, Florida — Due to COVID-19 the Black Women in Excellence Networking Mixer has been postponed until a future date. Black Professionals Network (BPN) recognizes Black Women in Excellence as part of its 2020 Women’s History Month events. This is the 2nd annual dedication recognizing black women in the South Florida community.
“Sometimes, I feel discriminated against, but it does not make me angry. It merely astonishes me. How can any deny themselves the pleasure of my company? It’s beyond me.”– Zora Neale Hurston
Honorees include several members of the organization and community leaders who have made significant contributions within their profession and the South Florida community. Nominated and selected by a voting committee, honorees are role models and exhibited the organization’s principles of collaboration, self-determination, and community.
