Professionals united for the Miami Tech Month Edition BPN networking mixer this past Thursday, April 20th. Held at the Tropical Cerveceria La Tropical in Wynwood, professionals across a variety of industries connected on the power of innovation and technology that Tech Week is all about. Set in the lush outdoor patio of the restaurant, first time attendees and seasoned members learned more about each other’s personalities and professions.
In addition to the icebreakers central to any BPN mixer, eMerge Americas Technology was the hot topic of the night, an exciting event for entrepreneurs, innovators, and change-makers in the city. BPN Leadership was took part in the eMerge events of the week, with BPN founder Kenasha Paul serving on a panel for women entrepreneurs discussing the importance of connecting with the community. Miami Chapter Vice President Dr. Egheosa Igbinoba and BPN team member and founder of I’m a Black Woman Kwamara Thompson participated on the eMerge stage on Miami Beach, emphasizing the messages surrounding the importance of technology in the elevation of community.
