Get ready for an unforgettable weekend full of sun, sand, and soulful vibes at Black Miami Weekend, hosted by Frolic Culture! This one-of-a-kind event is all about celebrating the beauty, resilience, and joy of the Black community in Miami and beyond.
We’re kicking off the weekend with a day of fun in the sun at one of Miami’s stunning beaches. Lounge on the sand, take a dip in the crystal-clear water or try your hand at some beach games with fellow frolickers.
On Saturday, we’ll be giving back to the community with a service day. Join us as we volunteer at a local organization dedicated to uplifting and empowering Black individuals and families.
Later that night, get ready to groove to the funky beats of the ’70s at our Boogie Busdown Afro Funk Party. Don your frolicy Afro Funk fit and boogie down to the sounds of legendary artists like Fela Kuti, Bootsy Collins, and more. Come ready to dance!
Finally, we wrap up the weekend in style with a delicious brunch at one of Miami’s top Black owned restaurants. Savor delectable dishes like chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, and bottomless mimosas as you toast to new friendships and unforgettable memories.
But that’s not all – Black Miami Weekend is also packed with surprises and special treats, from pop-up shops featuring Black-owned businesses to impromptu dance parties on the beach. So come ready to let loose, connect with your community, and embrace the spirit of Frolic Culture. See you there!
